Wearing a green wristband to show solidarity with Iranian green movement, Iranian born actress Shohreh Aghdashloo won an Emmy for playing the role of Saddam Hussein’s wife in the mini series; House of Saddam.

However, she neglected to use this opportunity to make a political statement about Iran, and left the stage without mentioning a single word about our struggle!

Congratulations to Shohreh, but too bad she missed an opportunity to make history when it mattered most!
